About UsCenter for Congregations
303 North Alabama Street, Suite 100
Indianapolis, IN 46204
In a rapidly changing world, it can be difficult for congregations to keep up with the demand for updated building and technology needs. Through our no-cost consulting and resource grant programs, the Center for Congregations provides Indiana congregations with the connections, funds, and guidance to upgrade building infrastructure and technology equipment. Whether a congregation needs assistance with church facility stewardship, maintenance, or management, we provide solutions to match a congregations’ sacred space with their mission and message. As a result of our work, Indiana congregations have opened new church plants, installed new parking lots, and even made their churches more accessibility-friendly.
When it comes to technology, the Center for Congregations connects congregations with the resources they need to stay current with the ever-expanding digital world. Take for example the Center for Congregations Connect Through Tech grant which helped congregations keep up with the need for online ministry during the COVID-19 pandemic. For many, what began as an effort to stay connected with the members of their congregation through online services, grew into creative efforts to engage congregants through new forms of ministry, such as online workshops or a video series of Bible lessons for children. During an otherwise isolating time, the Connect Through Tech Grant opened the doors for new congregational friendships, community partnerships, and even the start of new businesses.
The Center for Congregations is funded by Lilly Endowment, Inc. and is a supporting organization of the Christian Theological Seminary in Indianapolis and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary.
