Mental Health Initiative 2025 – Grant Briefing Sessions

The Center for Congregations will be launching the 2025 Mental Health Initiative for Central Indiana congregations to assist congregations in addressing mental and spiritual health and wellness in their context. The listed sessions are informative talks that break down the initiative and how to participate. Attending one of these sessions is required in order to qualify for a Mental Health Initiative cohort.

As a result of participating in this Mental Health Initiative, your congregation will:

• Understand ways that you can benefit from the intersection of mental and spiritual wellness.
• Harness your spiritual practices and faith claims to promote healing and mental well-being.
• Understand cultural dynamics that can limit the discussion of mental health in congregations.
• Equip yourselves to identify and offer mental health resources to support your faith community.
• Find rejuvenation and healing while learning how to offer it to your own congregation.
• Learn ways to support clergy people and their spiritual and mental wellness.

El Centro para Congregaciones lanzará la Iniciativa de Salud Mental 2025 para las congregaciones del centro de Indiana para ayudar a las congregaciones a abordar la salud y el bienestar mental y espiritual en su contexto. Las sesiones enumeradas son charlas informativas que desglosan la iniciativa y cómo participar. Se requiere asistir a una de estas sesiones para calificar para una cohorte de la Iniciativa de Salud Mental.

Como resultado de participar en esta Iniciativa de Salud Mental, su congregación:
