Congregations gather every week, hoping to make a difference in the world, and in their own community. But without a plan for translating that hope into everyday actions, it can be hard to achieve that goal – to go beyond sermons, and create a plan for the future.

Rev. Ethan Linder is a neighbor in Marion, Indiana, a dad of 3 kids under 8 (Ezra, Isaiah, and Jack), and husband to Sarah. He serves as Pastor of Discipleship at College Wesleyan Church in Marion, Indiana, and Assistant Director of the Young Adult Innovation Hub at Indiana Wesleyan University. A lot of his past decade of pastoral work has focused on young adults, deconstruction, reconstruction, and seeing the Gospel lived and preached as truly good news.
Dr. Amanda Drury is a professor of practical theology at Indiana Wesleyan University and executive director of the Imaginarium which houses the Strengthening Ministry With Children Coordination Program. She has MDiv and PhD degrees from Princeton Theological Seminary and is the author of Saying is Believing: The Necessity of Testimony in Adolescent Spiritual Development and Testimony and Trauma. She lives in Marion, IN with her husband, John, and their three children.
