This workshop explores the opportunities and challenges technology integration has introduced to church leaders and congregations like yours during the COVID-19 pandemic. Technology and communications leader Heidi Campbell draws on digital ethnographic research about how churches have adopted digital media and adapted to the culture of online platforms in 2020. She will offer insights on church internet use and the potential long term implications of these choices and emerging practices. Specifically she will discuss in more detail themes raised in her new eBook What Should Post-Pandemic Religion Look Like?
