You’re constantly planning for the next thing. Whether it’s the next sacred season, service opportunity or change of focus for your congregation. You know there’s a lot of great information on how to plan, but much of it is geared for business or military rather than congregational life. While helpful, this information can require a lot of translation.
Dave Odom of Leadership Education at Duke Divinity wants to introduce you to an approach that will more specifically fit your congregational planning needs. Come learn about a life-giving method to planning that acknowledges congregations are a unique hybrid of organization and family.
In this live online workshop, you will learn how to:
- identify five critical questions that an effective strategy should address.
- discern the most significant questions on which you should focus.
- articulate the two basic approaches to planning.
- identify which approach might be best for your congregation.
This live online workshop is noon-1:30 p.m. (Eastern time) Wednesday, November 1, 2017. The cost is $10 per connection. We encourage you to attend this event as a team at one location, if possible, and set aside time immediately after the event to discuss how this information impacts your specific context. You can access this workshop from any computer or mobile device connected to the internet. Links and instructions will be provided in the registration confirmation email.
Registration is limited to Indiana congregations.
