How do young people engage with religion today? Or are they even engaging with religion at all? In this live online event, sociologist (and young adult) Michael Rotolo will discuss the importance of understanding young Americans’ moral frameworks, which influence how they relate to religion, as well as how they navigate life more broadly. This workshop will help you better understand how young Americans are approaching “life’s big questions,” as well as how you can support them along their journey.
Date and time: 1:30-3 p.m. (Eastern) February 24, 2021 and 10-11:30 a.m. (Eastern) on March 17, 2021
In this live online event, you’ll learn about:
- the “big picture” questions that guide young people’s moral decision-making.
- four dominant ways young people in America relate to religion.
- strategies that can support young adults’ spiritual development.
- how your specific context matters for both the kinds of young adults you are likely to encounter and the kinds of support you can offer them.
