Invigorating Congregational Life through Youth Ministry

Invigorating Congregational Life through Youth Ministry

daveHealthy youth ministry programs can make well-integrated robust contributions to congregational life and have transformational impact on members and communities. This research-informed, interactive workshop will focus on four ways to help you empower your youth ministries for catalytic faithfulness and life-changing outcomes.

Become discriminating
You will become acquainted with youth ministry models in the marketplace and get the chance to value-test each one against the vision and direction of your church.

Challenge existing leaders
Honest self-reflection will be the backdrop for learning how to leverage existing leadership strengths for excellent youth ministry.

Refresh your church culture
Expectations are bred in the soil of a congregation’s culture. Can young people contribute to congregational life and community transformation? You will reframe what you believe can happen through youth ministry as you discover the surprising, far-reaching assets of empowered teens.

Reclaim community impact
Authentic relational ministry will never go out of style, and courageous young people can unleash their faith in contagious ways. Learn how to fan the flame of youth ministry’s missional impact beyond the walls of your church.

As a result of this workshop, you will learn how to:

  • choose a youth ministry model that fuels your congregation’s vision.
  • identify leadership changes needed to invigorate youth ministry.
  • reshape congregational culture to support excellent youth ministry.
  • empower youth to lead your congregation’s community missional efforts.
