The mental and emotional health of a faith community is a joint venture between God, the community's leadership, and its lay people. Why does this subject matter? Because the number of people who identify as believers in Jesus Christ are experiencing record levels of depression, anxiety, and suicidal ideation. This event will unpack the current landscape as it relates to the mental and emotional well-being, the key contributors to that landscape, and the most impactful behaviors both leaders and lay people can practice to help them get and stay healthy.
