Discover the power of positive change at this Center for Congregations conference. The Art of the Flourishing Congregation: Practices that Promote Positive Change builds on the concepts of the Center’s signature Flourishing Congregations event, giving you the knowledge and tools to continue to dream, discover and do.
If you have attended a past Flourishing gathering, you will gain new information and strategies for utilizing positive change. If you are new to Flourishing, this event is a great opportunity to explore the benefits of positive change and how it can make a difference in your congregation – attendance at a previous event is not a pre-requisite.

Identifying Your Challenge
In advance of the conference, you and your team are encouraged to identify a congregational challenge or opportunity that you’d like to address. At the conference, you and your fellow participants will be organized around common challenges and/or opportunities. In small work groups, you will learn how to apply positive change practices and principles in order to overcome challenges or realize opportunities.
Definition of Positive Change

Congregations collectively learn, grow and change through a purposefully affirmative process.
