Creekside Church of the Brethren is a "not so big church" that has "BIG ideas" in Elkhart, Indiana.
Their church garden produced 9,000 lbs. of produce for their community last year, which is situated near a food desert. The garden is truly a team effort of the congregation, but so are the beehives, prayer garden and greenhouse that are all on campus. COVID-19 has changed how they do some of their work, yet they are still going strong and doing amazing things this growing season. Creekside works closely with Church Community Services and their Seed to Feed program in order to distribute their produce to the community.
