Youth leaders will not want to miss Mark DeVries’ four-part workshop on creating and maintaining thriving ministry to teenagers. Covering the topics of “The Anatomy of Stuckness,” “The 411 on Sustainable Youth Ministry,” “Working Together,” and “Assessing Your Own
Ministry/Designing Your Own Blueprint,” DeVries offers up-to-date information and practical advice on moving forward with your youth ministry.
DeVries is the founder of Youth Ministry Architects, a hands-on coaching service for congregations. A youth pastor and trainer of youth leaders across the country, he teaches and guest lectures at a number of colleges and seminaries, including
Princeton Theological Seminary, Vanderbilt Divinity School, David Lipscomb University, King College, and Reformed Theological Seminary.
The workshop is 9 a.m.-4 p.m. (Central time) Wednesday, January 13 at Nativity Catholic Church, 3635 Pollack Ave., Evansville, and Friday, January 15 at First Presbyterian Church, 8727 Delaware St., Highland in Lake County, Indiana. The cost is $30 a person ($25 a person for teams of three or more). The fee includes lunch and a copy of DeVries’ book, Sustainable Youth Ministry: Why Most Youth Ministry Doesn't Last and What Your Church Can Do About It .
