Dave Bourgeois discussed Internet Strategies for Your Congregation March 19 and 20, 2009 in Fort Wayne and Indianapolis.
What’s the role of internet technology for the local congregation? What methods are effective for thinking strategically about internet use in our congregations? What can we do and what should we do with internet technology? How can we develop our own plan for using the web in our congregation?
The workshop Internet Strategies for Your Congregation helped leaders to develop strategies for their use of the internet. Combining presentation materials with interactive discussion, participants gained a better understanding of how to implement (or improve) the use of the internet for their congregations. Presenter Dave Bourgeois explored with participants useful and relevant information to help congregations discover practical uses for internet technology, ways to implement those ideas, and how to move forward with a plan of action. He is an information systems and technology educator at Biola University in Southern California. His research interests are in the areas of faith, technology, and how they can work cooperatively.
