Doug Hanner is the Director of the Southeast Center for Congregations in Seymour, IN. He recently became a minister in the Church of the Nazarene, serving currently as the Associate Pastor of Worship in Corydon, IN at the Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene. To his work at the Center, Doug brings a strong background of lay ministry and strategic planning coaching and consulting. He has served in multiple roles within the local church including: Church Board Secretary, Sunday School Superintendent, Sunday School Teacher, Bible Study Facilitator, Missionary President, Youth President, Musician, Worship Leader, Trustee and Steward.
Doug is both a graduate (B.A.) and student (M.Min) of Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois. He enjoys attending the events and sports his kids participate in, playing music with his family, and the great outdoor chores and recreation associated with his family’s fourth generation farm. Doug lives in rural Jackson County near Kurtz with his wife, Trina, and their two children, Abby and Emmitt.
