Wendy McCormick is the Director of the Southwest Center for Congregations in Evansville. She is a minister in the Presbyterian Church USA, serving nine years as a pastor in Ohio before coming to First Presbyterian Church in Evansville for eleven years. To her work with the Center, Wendy brings experience starting a new congregation, work with a variety of community organizations, and collaboration with leaders of a variety of congregations.
Wendy is a graduate of Carleton College in Minnesota and Union Theological Seminary in New York City. She has been a fellow of the New York Sabbatical Institute and the Columbia Seminary Thompson Scholars. She has been an occasional columnist for the Evansville paper and a speaker at community events. Wendy lives in Evansville with her husband, Kevin Fleming, and their daughters, Lydia, Joanna and Abigail.
